I have always enjoyed my friend, Peppermint Patty.
Ok, not from Day One.
On Day One, she tossed me. But that was my fault.
I didn't realize she has a tendency to bolt and I foolishly jumped on bareback with just a rope halter. Stupid Me!
Since then, we have worked on her weaknesses (like backing, stopping and walking!) while keeping her go-y nature in tact. She has become very tuned into my cues and takes the slightest signals to make transitions and direction changes. Truly a joy to train!
When I come to work with her, we play a game. If I don't approach her with the right attitude, she'll take off. But you will notice, even in this clip, that she isn't being nasty. She always turns to face me. She isn't really running away. She's running around...But I tell ya, the girl's got game.
On this day, I intentionally approached her with the wrong attitude.
Off she went!
You need to do more of these. You are gifted putting these clips to appropiate music. Once again, I was lol. I was anticipationg you falling over from dizziness at the end.
It's only fun when it's someone else playing the chase game. For me-it always happens when I have the least amount of time to play.
HAHAHAHAHAHA haven't we all been there??
